Charleton Church of England Primary School's aim is to provide each child with the opportunity to achieve his or her potential. We endeavour to do this by promoting the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of children. Working alongside parents and the community, we aim to prepare children for a happy and successful future.
This is a Church of England school in the Diocese of Exeter.
Recognising its historic foundation, the school will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles and practice of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church in the parish and diocese.
The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian Belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promotes Christian values through experiences it offers to all its pupils.
We have six core values at Charleton; the children learn about these in depth during our collective worship. We aim to make these values central to everything we do at school and in life.
